Hello friends and family ,
I've written a letter to each one of my supporters explaining my next season , come this September . I wanted to share with everyone who not only supports me but prays and keeps track of my missions and what I do here at ywam sf. I don't think everyone knows yet that in September I will be moving to Ventura , CA and will be living there , close to my boyfriend . I'm so excited and more so that god totally was preparing my heart for this move and transition out of ywam.  I wanted to share a little back history - last September when I was leading my first dts I felt The Lord tell me that this was my last school , I was really confused and didn't know what that meant , was I suppose to change ministries ? Leave ywam ? I had no clue and God , knowing how much I can handle at once was only sharing that information to me , I spent the next couple months seeking The Lord and  asking what that meant - still after the school ended late February I still had no clue so I decided to work with a ministry here called because justice matters ( bjm ) and committed to help with the children and family's portion of bjm until september . Right around that time I also met my boyfriend who is brothers of a staff member here at ywam sf. I had known him for a couple years now and that last February when he was visiting his brother we went on our first date . I knew he was something special and began to date . He lives in Ventura and works there as well . We've been long distance since then. Around late may I felt like The Lord was telling me after my commitment ends in September I was to move to Ventura to be closer to Erik ( my boyfriend ) . I asked my mentors to pray about this too along with Erik - they all felt like this was from The Lord and of course I was very excited to be closet to him as well!
I've been working full time with bjm as a dance teacher , it's been such a blessing working with the girls in the tenderloin and building relationships with them ! I'll continue to work with ywam and bjm until  September 5th which is our fundraiser for the women's center which our dance studio is located at . Then the next day I'll move down to Southern California ! Don't worry I'll always stay a giants fan ;)
I already have a little studio/ in-law unit secured to live and am still looking for a job . I hope to find a job that I can use all my ywam experience in . Please keep me in your prayers!!!
Thank you all for the last 5 years of prayer and support since I've been on staff  with ywam sf.

I added some pictures below because they say pictures speak a thousand words. The end.

Just kidding!
I have been back in the states for about three weeks with the first week being jam packed of getting all the students ready to graduate. I was the school leader so I had to prepare the graduation and get everything ready on top of having jet lag but i had two weeks of recovery time afterwords which were much needed and very appreciated. I ended up staying in the city for the first week because i needed to be in my own bed. :) then  I went home last week and was able to join my dad one day for work and kids club and me and my sister also took my mommy out to celebrate her birthday. How blessed i am to be home for that week/weekend.I had a wonderful time.

During our remainder time in Thailand was very fun. We were able to join ministries that we have not been able to partner with in the past so it was much exciting.
The three of us who were in Thailand while the other part of the team traveled to India were able to connect so much more with the Thai students on base. We were able to help them in the kitchen, join bible studies and small groups along with worship nights. Of course sharing our testimonies and playing games were always expected from us. We also spent many days helping at one of the ministries called 'Ruth Center' which helps grandmothers in the slums receive an income buy sowing bags. Our job was cutting little pieces of fabric for some of the designs of the bags that the grandmothers will be sowing together. ** first top pictures are of the Thailand team cutting the fabric.
We also were able to join the Children's scholarship program and hangout with middle age students that are sent to this ministry so they can go to school. They were so fun to get to know.We joined them for dinner, played volleyball, and bible studies with them. We loved our ministry times along with our non ministry times getting to know the local shake lady whose name is love. She sure lived up to her name- we would visit her daily and we became really good friends with her. We also were very privileged to witness some of the Thai students getting baptized. what a blessing it was to see them dedicate their lives to the Lord! :)

We were reunited with the rest of our team that traveled to India a couple days before we left for San Francisco and was able to have really good days of debrief along with stuffing our faces at a Thai buffet. I ATE SO MUCH! it was so good but that was our surprise to the team! They all loved the food lol :)
We returned to the states on the 13th of February just ion time for valentines day <3 p="">I am back at YWAM now , hopefully ill be joining the Ellis room ( our drop in center) for the next couple months. :)
hope you all have blessed weeks ahead! :)

Photos from Outreach in Thailand 2013/2014

Our group of 8 ladies plus Bethany and I have been in Thailand for about four weeks now. Our time has been spent traveling up north of Thailand and visiting different churches and schools to put on Christmas parties. We sang Christmas and worship songs , shared testimonies and bible stories and performed our skits that are simple but give a good explanation of Jesus. While traveling with a local pastor of Bangkok and helping him church plant we also got to help celebrate the opening of his fathers church in one of the provinces on the mountains for New years! We were able to visit a village that had  first heard about Jesus 70 years ago when some missionary's visited their village,we were the second missionary's ever to come through their village and they were so very grateful for our arrival. We met the lady that first became a Christian and then led the whole village to know the Lord and we were able to encourage them and pray for the people there. :) God blessed us with about 7 meals every day- enough sticky rice to last a life time and a place to sleep, either on church floors or in peoples huts with mosquitoes nets to protect us. It was a wonderful 12 days of traveling and outreach up north. Then we spent a couple days in downtown Bangkok serving a ministry that helps with the homeless and prostitutes, the neighbor hood actually reminded me a lot of the Tenderloin. We were able to go around and talk to some buys selling themselves, sharing with them about Jesus and letting them know that we nor Jesus judge and they are still His beloved sons! We passed out tracks which are a huge door opener and gum as a gift to show we care for them. We also were able pass out roses to the women in the neighbor hood and were also able to cook omelets for the homeless and actually learned how to cook a Thai omelet which are so very good and one of my favorite dishes here. We have been blessed to be a part of these ministries along with some other stuff at the YWAM base in Thailand. Eight of our team just left today for India while myself and two other students stay here in Bangkok to finish out our outreach working with the YWAM base. Please keep us in your prayers! :)
God Bless!!!
